OUR GOAL
Safety.
Our number one concern is safety. Novices will learn how to shoot and handle a gun the safe way.
Knowledge.
You will learn:
1. Pistol Safety, Parts, and Operation
2. Possible malfunctions and how to respond.
3. Ammunition and the Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting
4. Pistol Shooting from the Benchrest and Standing Positions
5. Pistol Cleaning, Storage, and Training Opportunities
6. Range overview and expectations.
Skill.
You will gain the skill to be able to more confidently own, handle, maintain and shoot
a handgun.
Confidence.
All of our students have told us their confidence level goes up dramatically.
Whether it's improving marksmanship, safe handling or maybe even feel more confident in buying that first gun.
You will also receive a certificate which will allow you to apply for a Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit.

EQUIPMENT
WHERE
No need to already own a gun.
We will supply the firearms if you do not have one of your own.
You will be able to try several different guns. Among them will be a .22, several 9mm,
a .38 special and .357 magnum. There will be both semi auto pistols and revolvers.
IIn addition to being the lead instructor at 2AS, I am also an affiliate instructor with Guns-n-Gear and Capitol Defense Instruction. Both located in the Northern Virginia area.
Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certificate which you can use to apply for a Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit.

We come to you in the comfort of your own home or business or you can come to our classroom. Whatever is more convienient for you.
You will recieve 2 hours of hands on instruction with no live ammunition in the home.
Afterwards we will go to the range for an hour of live fire. This is where you will use all that you were taught and then refine it.
As an added bonus, your name, date, position, distance and caliber will be recorded on your targets for you to keep so you can track your progress should you want to continue with lessons.
We also now offer laser training in your home or our classroom.
See where your round will go as if you were really at the range.
It's the closest thing to being there.
